We are working with Q Services because their suite of digital health solutions creates a medical trust chain that is critical for passenger security and data privacy. Ink has been working hard with Caribbean Airlines on workflows that incorporate the Q-Wallet. The deployment is a sophisticated one enabled using the back-end APIs of Q-Link, delivering real system-to-system interoperability. In the real world, solutions have to move beyond single-system implementations, and Q Services has already done that.
We are excited about the partnership between Q Services and IHP Safety. The first time I saw Q’s capabilities, it felt like the future was punching me in the face. The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in an accelerated, new need and acceptance for portable, digital health credentials. This new world requires far more than the verification of being healthy. It requires balancing the control of our most personal, private information with the ability to move through daily life, access points and security checks in a seamless, touch-less experience.
